going out on my own for a year now im back again
and it wasnt one big party like everybody says it is
just a lot of booze, a lot of weed, and some cool friends

and that may sound like a part
but when everyone's just off doing their own thing
that's just another night in sterry hall
let's go inside and get drunk and then head out to the benches to see who we can bum a cigarette from
then go behind the building
and smoke a bowl

and i never shared my bed with a stranger
and more dudes crashed in my bed
than i had girls, in a whole year, and that's just sad
while the most awkward dude that we all knew
got it on, on top of a bunk bed
while the two people sitting silently on the bottom bunk just pretended to be asleep

and at least someone got to party
too bad for those people on the bottom bunk
but that's just how it was in sterry hall
his pick-up line was as follows "im drunk
could you help me out?"
and she obliged
now why couldn't i think of that one myself

if i could go back and do it all again
i'd spend my time exactly the same with all my friends
